Over the years the Mukilteo Lighthouse has guided everything from freighters and bootleggers to aircraft and pleasure boats.
In continuous operation since 1906, it is one of the few remaining wooden lighthouses in the Pacific Northwest.
The Mukilteo Historical Society works closely with the United States Coast Guard and the City of Mukilteo to preserve this
important piece of our heritage. One of the great benefits of membership is the opportunity to volunteer to work at the
lighthouse.
